Paula’s Story

Paula’s love for home décor began in childhood, long before she realized it would become her life’s work. Her modest upbringing in a small farming community taught her to be creative with what was available.

During her college years and while taking design school courses, she started work as a visual merchandiser, first for a Canadian clothing retailer and then for various home decor, seasonal, gourmet food and specialty businesses. What began as side projects—installing wallpaper, painting, refinishing antiques, providing decor/design advice, creating unique trade show displays—grew into full-time jobs and eventually to setting up her own home staging business in 2015. Over time, Paula has also worked on a full range of home decor, renovation, hotel decor, and short term rental and resort projects.

In the spring of 2024, after staging hundreds of homes, Paula shifted her focus fully to interior décor and design. Today, she brings an adventurous, creative spirit to every project, pushing past trends to deliver something unexpected, deeply personal and functional.
